By paying your deposit you acknowledge our terms & conditions.
- Booking & Deposits – A non-refundable deposit is required to secure your booking. The remaining balance is due on the day of your appointment. By paying the deposit, you agree to our terms & conditions.
- Group Deposits – If a client in a group cancels, their deposit is non-refundable & cannot be transferred to others within this group, as specific time slots are reserved.
- Deposits Per Artist – For bookings involving multiple artists (e.g makeup artist & hairstylist), a deposit is required for each artist. If one artist is cancelled, their deposit remains non-refundable & not transferred to the other artist.
- Individual wedding party numbers/cancellations - Please double-check your final bridal party numbers. Just book for confirmed wedding party numbers. Noting - additional members can be added later (subject to time availability) if you are unsure. Once your deposit is received, the full amount per person is payable on the day based on your confirmed party size, even if one member cancels one or both services. If someone cancels or unable to attend, you’re welcome to replace them with someone else. Your booking time is reserved just for your wedding, so the per-person charge still applies - this policy is in place as we reserve this time just for your wedding & decline other bookings based on your confirmed numbers/time.
- Securing your booking – Your booking is only confirmed when a deposit has been paid. If you have booked a trial without paying a deposit, your booking will only be held until the end of business on the day of your trial.
- Referred Artists – Upon mutual agreement, we may refer an experienced artist from our network. Once agreed, the referred artist will take the booking & all further communication will be handled directly with them & not the responsibility of Kerry Howell Makeup.
- Unforeseen Circumstances – If your artist is unable to fulfill the booking due to illness or emergency, you will be notified promptly. We will make every effort to find a replacement. If no alternative is available, your deposit will be fully refunded.
- Allergies & Sensitivities – Clients must inform us of any allergies (e.g latex etc) before makeup application. While we follow strict hygiene protocols, we are not liable for allergic reactions or injuries related to makeup products.
- Health & Hygiene – We reserve the right to refuse service to anyone with an infectious condition (e.g flu, COVID-19 etc). Clients must disclose any contagious conditions (e.g hepatitis, cold sores etc). We are not responsible for the transmission of medical conditions.
- Parking: City meter parking fees apply where the client is actually getting ready (excluding alternate parking areas). Please confirm parking arrangements with the booked artist.
- Travel fees: are additional & must be confirmed with the booked artist.
- Public holidays – Prices may vary on public holidays. Please confirm with the booked artist, if you change your booking to a public holiday changes in pricing will occur
- Photography & Promotion – Photos may be taken for promotional & social media purposes, if you prefer not to have images featured please inform Kerry beforehand.
- Tattoo body coverage/body scars etc – Additional charges apply for covering tattoos or body scars. Please confirm a quote with your artist.
